Our History

2019

Sachin Ruparelia is appointed as CEO of Camino Partners.

​After a number of successful assignments in the USA, Managing Director - Matt Newman, launches Cavana Search, a new Camino brand, specialising in senior rec-to-rec across the USA.

2020

Camino Partners appoints Harry Hewson as Associate Director and Natasha South as Operations Director.

Founders Sachin Ruparelia and Matt Newman complete an MBO.

2011

In 2011, three ex-colleagues met for a drink in a Spanish restaurant called Camino in King’s Cross. Drawing on their previous experience and vast network, they realised there was a gap in the market for a company to specialise in placing finance roles within the recruitment sector and an idea was born.

2013

Harry (now our Associate Director) joins the business. Camino expands its offering from Finance to cover all back-office business support roles for the recruitment sector, including HR, marketing, compliance and administration.

2015

Building on the success of the new divisions and employee growth, Camino Partners upgrades to a new 30-person office in Farringdon.

2018

Camino grows to 27 heads, covering all non-sales and back-office roles across the recruitment sector.

Building on the success of our niche, Harry Hewson is tasked with launching Camino Search, placing finance professionals into high-growth technology businesses.

Sachin and Harry took a detailed brief from us for a new role within the company and quickly put together a Job Description to take to the market. This was followed by putting together a shortlist of suitable candidates within the agreed timelines, Harry was also professional throughout the process, available at all times if needed to be and very professional and communicative at all times.

The resulting hire has already made a big difference to the company and our processes. Overall we've been extremely pleased and impressed with Harry and Camino's service and professionalism.
