This is an excellent opportunity for a CFO to join a profitable, sector-dominating, rapidly expanding international recruitment group. This is a metamorphic period in the business, as they're on an 18-month cusp of going through their first capital event and are looking for a CFO to work closely with the CEO to lead and eventuate that plan.


  • Contractor-driven recruitment group operating across the UK, US and Asia with operations in Asia and headquartered in London with a newly-opened international office in Asia.

  • Have grown to over 200 headcount purely off the back of their own funds and growth so far, with plans to get to 400 in the next 2 years.

  • Over 700% ebitda growth in the past 2 years.

  • Recently opened up their first international office with plans to open another in the next 6 months and add 150 heads to their overseas offices in the next 24 months.

  • Plan to go through their first capital event in 18 months, which will be followed by another 4 years after.

  • Opening up further service lines outside of the recruitment sector in the next few years, offering a different human capital offering to their clients.


  • Manage the finance, operations, IT, HR and marketing functions.

  • Preparing the business for their first capital event, including financial due diligence, strategic direction and leading the beauty parade.

  • Manage the risk associated with an ultra-hyper growth business.

  • Business partnering with an incredibly ambitious CEO to help guide key strategic decision-making.

  • Take the lead from an operational perspective of setting up international entities and offices.

  • Act as an international compliance steward and protector of business assets.

  • Provide financial advice and guidance to the board.

  • Ensuring financial and operational processes and systems are scalable on a global level.

  • Build robust, scalable, global internal financial systems and processes.

  • Oversight of employee equity incentive and EMI schemes, including a project leading the restructuring on the EMI scheme ahead of their first capital event.

  • Optimise financial model, including commission and leadership bonus schemes.


  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.

  • Previous experience within a contractor-driven recruitment business of a similar scale.

  • International exposure, preferably with experience setting up international offices.

  • Previous experience leading a capital event (either private equity or debt deals).

  • Previous no.1 experience, reporting directly into a CEO/Founder/equivalent.


  • £150,000-£200,000/year base salary (depending upon experience)
