Camino Media & Crowe UK would like to thank everyone who attended the Mergers & Acquisition Conference yesterday, and for all of those involved in organising such a great event. This was the first event in Camino Media & Crowe UK’s ‘Going for Growth’ series.
Bringing together a panel of leading experts within the M&A field, the Mergers and Acquisitions Conference was aimed at informing Finance Professionals and Business Owners within the Media & Creative sectors, on the best practice in how to prepare your business for a sale and the opportunities and risks associated with buying. Speakers included Crowe UK's Corporate Finance Partner, Matteo Timpani, who talked through the importance of being prepared when selling your business, Bird & Bird Partner, Helen Gavin-Brown, who discussed the legalities of buying or selling a business, The Health Hive Group’s Chief Operating Officer, Aaron Walmsley who reminisced challenges he faced during an international sale, and Start’s Group CFO, Stephen Forest who reiterated the value of preparing for a sale and heeding the advice of M&A experts.
