Our client is on the lookout for a skilled Management Accountant to join their dynamic accounts team. This position involves generating valuable management information to aid decision-making and streamlining processes for greater efficiency. As the second-in-command in the finance department, you will be instrumental in evolving the function to support the company's ambitious growth plans over the next three years.

- Perform monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet control accounts, including bank and sales.
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash on a monthly basis.
- Prepare management accounts packs for review.
- Handle VAT controls and returns.
- Post monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
- Conduct financial analysis comparing actual results to the budget.
- Prepare year-end accounts and assist with audit preparations.
- Document all financial processes undertaken.
- Participate in ad hoc business improvement projects.
- Continuously review processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Train front-line staff on financial processes.
- Proficiency with Sage Intaact and advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience with API integration is advantageous.
- Background in the recruitment sector or a similar service industry.
- Over 2 years of experience in producing management accounts in a comparable organization.
- Preferably experienced in multi-company accounting.
- A natural problem solver.
- Strong relationship-building skills with all stakeholders.
- Resilient and dedicated to achieving excellent results.
