Are you an experienced German-speaking finance professional based in London? We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a dynamic and growing international recruitment business. This is a hybrid role that blends finance, accounting, and business integration, ideal for someone looking to take on a multi-entity, multi-currency challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the financial operations for the German business entities, including the core business and executive search business.
- Manage financial tasks such as accruals, posting journals, invoices, and ensuring the P&L is prepared for review.
- Collaborate with a global finance team across the UK, Germany, South Africa, and the US to drive financial integration and reporting.
- Support AP, AR, and credit control functions as necessary, including assisting with invoicing.
- Involvement in system transitions, contributing to the implementation of new finance systems.
About You:
- Fluent in German (native level or proficient) with experience working in a German-speaking business environment.
- Strong understanding of basic finance principles, including debits and credits, accruals, invoice processing, and journal posting.
- Comfortable working within a multi-entity and multi-currency setup. Previous exposure to EUR/GBP transactions is a bonus but not a requirement.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to build credibility quickly in a close-knit team.
- High emotional intelligence, able to navigate complex team dynamics and work collaboratively.
- Ideally, you have a background in finance and accounting, though formal qualifications are not essential.
