Job Description

Are you looking to launch a career within Sales Training / Learning & Development? Do you have successful experience working as a recruitment consultant? If so this is the perfect role for you.

My client is a global highly regarded professional services recruitment consultancy with offices all over the globe, looking for a successful sales professional with knowledge of corporate recruitment. You will get to travel around the UK delivering best in class training to New Starters and be developed by a highly experienced Head of Talent. You don't need prior experience as a trainer but you do require at least 12 months experience as a recruiter in a corporate / highly professional recruitment business

  • Working closely with key Stakeholders and the Head of Talent to support and enhance the development strategy ensuring that is aligned with business needs.
  • Deliver and evolve the New Starter Development Programme and Experienced Consultant Programmes.
  • Develop new and constantly review and update existing training to ensure that all staff have current and correct knowledge.
  • Working closely with line managers in multiple regions to ensure that needs arising from Personal Development Plans are addressed as appropriate and include in the plans.
  • Maintain a published internal catalogue of available training courses actively promoting courses to line managers via regular meetings and other communication methods.
  • Manage and maintain the Learning Management System for all employees recording training status and goals for all active employees.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes and learning outcomes and ensuring all activities are reported on and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide on-going support to staff to embed a learning culture.
  • Produce monthly detailed reports on all training delivery and on-going activity.
  • Any ad-hoc requirements as identified by the line manager

Desired experience & skills needed

  • Previous training experience is preferred but demonstrable experience as a successful experience as a sales professional within a recruitment organisation is essential.
  • Comprehensive and current knowledge of training tools, development theory and best practice is essential.
  • Can work autonomously, effectively managing a range of situations and issues demonstrating excellent problem solving and decision making, minimising need to escalate.
  • Has a significant track record of successfully designing and delivering training courses and material that is engaging and supports the achievement of individual and business objectives
  • Experience and evidence of delivering the full learning cycle that drive business results.
