I am working with a specialist recruitment business on the up, they are looking for a passionate and experienced recruitment professional to join their senior management team as their Talent Development and Acquisition Manager. You will be responsible for helping them keep one step ahead of their recruitment needs and hiring plans, planning the acquisition priorities and building a pipeline of candidates. The other side of the role is to develop an in-house recruitment academy, including the assessment and selection of trainees and graduates, you will help create a structured training programme and responsible for delivering it. You will be able to draw on the experience of an external training professional who will assist in your own development to become an effective trainer.
It is important you have great facilitation skills, you are able to think on your feet, challenge and influence senior managers. You will need to establish strong relationships with stakeholders, partnering with the business and identifying real needs and solutions. Ideally, you would have had experience delivering training (management/academy) within a recruitment environment - it is essential that you have worked and been successful in a recruitment role within a commercial environment.
You need to be a people person, have experience managing teams and have an exposure to various sales models.
