Job Description

Are you an IT Director of the future looking to join a fast growing professional outfit in the Big Apple?

Well look no further, I am working with a leading consultancy operating within Banking, Technology & Engineering sectors who have created a new Service Delivery Manager role. This position will work closely with the CIO, and will play a key role in ensuring IT services are properly planned and delivered to US offices.

Working with US senior management to support Business activities and to identify requirements for any projects for incorporation into the annual IT roadmap, the SDM (US) will also act as the 'face’ of technology for any escalations for service related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the CIO, the SDM (US) will be responsible for:
  • Management, measuring and ensuring/enforcing the end-to-end performance of my client's outsourced providers, against agreed SLAs and standards.
  • Working with the CIO to develop a continual service improvement plan, and to deliver agreed improvements within defined timescales and standards
  • Feeding into the IT strategy of the Group
  • Mentor/manage the onsite engineer resource, liaising with the IT service provider to ensure appropriate cover is provided to meet requirements.
  • Testing/validating new technologies for both the US and Group
  • Take a lead on projects as required
  • Being a point of contact for escalation of major issues and/or breach of SLAs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with my client's international management teams.
  • Providing a point of continuity in the absence of the CIO

Skills

  • Strong end-user/customer support knowledge,
  • A high sense of responsibility and steadiness and excellent judgment under pressure
  • Strong relationship management skills - confidence in communicating at all levels of the Business
  • Strong process management skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Broad appreciation of a wide variety of technologies
  • Strong influencing skills

This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT manager to take the next step in their career. My client will be able to sponsor non-US nationals.

Successful candidates will be contacted within 48 hours
