My client is the largest specialist communications head-hunter in the UK with an amazing company culture who are looking for an experienced Receptionist. Your new company is the largest specialist communications head-hunter who have a passion for creating a vibrant, dynamic working environment. The successful Receptionist will provide a high standard front of house/reception service, to support and assist with events and to provide additional office admin and ad hoc support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of Gallery/front of house, ensuring the gallery and meeting rooms are clear, tidy and tea/coffee supplies are topped up throughout the day
  • Welcome all visitors and informing the relevant person of their arrival
  • Manage main switchboard
  • Manage companies 'hello’ email mailbox
  • Organise internal and external meetings and interview days etc., (manage room bookings, schedule diaries, make teas/coffees etc., set up rooms)
  • Opening and closing of office and meeting rooms daily (in rotation/shared with other support staff)
  • Assist and support on gallery events
  • Liaising with internal and external clients/event sponsors (where appropriate)
  • Managing invitation lists and RSVPs
  • Liaising with event caterers and staff
  • Setting up the events
  • Being the point of contact throughout each event with escalation to the event owner
  • Undertake general administrative support tasks, such as database updates
  • Provide ad hoc support

Person Specification

  • Ideally degree educated (not essential)
  • At least a years' experience in a Receptionist role
  • Must show significant individual initiative and a positive work ethic
  • Well-developed time management and organisation skills
  • Must present professionally at all times, particularly when meeting and greeting clients, candidates and other third parties
