Our client is a growing recruitment firm based in Central London looking to add an experienced Payroll professional to their finance team. The business prides itself on a collaborative culture and you will be an integral part of the finance team but also the wider business.
You will be responsible for processing payroll but also have the freedom to improve and suggest changes to the business's internal processes and systems. This role will require someone to be a confident communicator allowing them to manage internal and external stakeholders.
Generally working with the rest of the finance team, including the assistant accountants and credit control team, duties to include the following:
- Handling and processing of the businesses contractor payroll and billing
- Assist in the continuous improvement of systems and internal technology to become more efficient
- Setting up new contractors on Internal systems
-Identify contractors whose timesheet is due for payment in line with payment terms and prepare weekly BACS Payment following current process.
-Ensure associated self-bill invoices are raised and sent to contractors, and sales invoices are raised and sent to clients on a timely basis.
-Ensure ad hoc payments to contractors are made as may be required.
-Monitor the team e-mail, answering ad hoc contractor pay queries from consultants and contractors as they arise.
-Any other data entry and processing as required
