Job Description

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Contract Payroll

  • Collect, compile and enter payroll data using appropriate software from e-mails through RSM – In-time system/ Tempest – Safe
  • Process new worker forms to ensure correct set up in both systems. Upload weekly Bull Horn information into Tempest
  • Importing/creating of placements within tempest
  • Review and verify source documents are approved correctly- timesheets and expense claim forms
  • Ensure all rates match contracts for all time worked including special agreements
  • Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors for delivering payments correctly
  • Check all self-bills and remittance advice notes for all payments
  • Address all queries relating to pay from contractors – underpayments or overpayments, including advance payments are deducted correctly and the chasing of over payments on the money tracker.
  • Complete any requests for pay-related documents
  • Rectify returned payments from management/limited companies
  • Run both sessions and weekly payroll’s when required.
  • Develop, manage and maintain comprehensive payroll records
  • Assist with Munro and Key accounts Payroll when necessary

Billing

  • Send all invoices to appropriate contacts as per the clients billing instructions
  • Deal with all queries relating specifically payroll related on the error log on any invoicing discrepancies, processing credits and reissues when required.
  • Constant liaison with the credit controllers/sales/compliance on your clients to assist with any ongoing issues or improvements in the process.
  • Assist with Munro and Key accounts billing when necessary

Education and Experience

  • experience of payroll processing
  • solid data entry skills
  • working knowledge of relevant software – Tempest
  • understanding of basic accounting principles
