Job Description

Our client, a market-leading multi-brand business based near Liverpool Street, is currently on the hunt for an experienced payroll administrator to support their established team in processing contractor payroll. The role has become available due to a growth in business development, and is initially a contract role with a view to the right candidate becoming permanent. The ideal candidate should have experience processing contractor payroll and working in a fast-paced environment, an understanding of IR35 is also desirable.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Running weekly payroll for a high volume of contractors
  • Handling queries over the phone
  • Processing tax forms, student loans, P45 requests
  • Calculating statutory payments i.e. maternity/paternity/sick pay
  • Running checks and collating timesheets

 

Experience needed:

  • Previously worked in a payroll bureau, shared services, outsourcing, or recruitment company
  • Knowledge of IR35
  • Previously processed contractor payroll
