My client is a well respected IT recruitment business based in Leeds who are looking for a resilient, hard-working and passionate Operations Manager to head up their Operations function.  The Operations Manager will be the heartbeat of the business dealing with all HR related functions as well having responsibility in general day-to-day office management. You will be the glue that holds the office together and will efficiently deal with all queries/requests made by team members. A full generalist remit, the Operations Manager will gain excellent experience to ensure a long reputable career within operations management. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recommend and implement new approaches, policies and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Full ownership of the HR function
  • Liaising with all suppliers, reviewing and keeping records of all supplier contacts 
  • Managing IT infrastructure
  • Ensure delivery on contractor compliance
  • Ensure the business is GDPR compliant
  • Oversee the review and negotiation of commercial contracts with clients and suppliers
  • Ensure policies and processes are kept up to date and in line with current legislation
  • Manage the marketing function for the business including line management for the Marketing Manager
  • Meeting with Managers to forecast recruitment plans for the financial year

Person Specification:

  • Must have experience of direct line management
  • Must have experience in a recruitment business
  •  Must be proactive and efficient
  •  Proven experience of implementing clear infrastructure
  •  Good knowledge on employment law and best practice
  •  Experience of recruiting new staff members to the business
  •  The ability to work autonomously 
  •  To have an understanding on data protection and confidentiality
  •  An individual that can bring maturity to the role
