Job Description

Are you an ambitious, hardworking Office Assistant/Operations Assistant with aspirations to be an Operations Manager? Do you have  solid  recruitment sector experience with a good eye for HR policies and experienced in assisting the onboarding of new starters? 

My client is a specialist consultancy with an excellent reputation in the market. They are looking for an ambitious, hardworking Operations Executive. You will have proven experience working in a fast paced environment managing a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal Operations Executive will have at least 3 years' experience in an Administrative or Operations Assistant position. This is an excellent opportunity for an Operations Executive or assistant to gain more exposure and be a massive impact in the business. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Acting as a contact between staff and management to maintain employee morale
  • Drafting job offers and employment contracts
  • Collecting necessary documents from new starters for payroll and right to work
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are signed and understood
  • Setting up the desk for new starters including IT and telecoms
  • Performing induction process upon employment start
  • Acting as an Account Manager for the job boards
  • Liaising with both IT and telecoms provider when individual or office spread issues arise
  • Drafting job descriptions
  • Organise and coordinate the recruitment and selection of new staff including arranging interviews and holding inductions

Person Specification: 

  • Having a strong background in Human Resources
  • Good knowledge on employment law and best practice
  • The ability to work autonomously 
  • To have an understanding on data protection and confidentiality
  • An individual that can bring maturity to the role 
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years' recruitment sector experience
