Job Description
Are you an ambitious, hardworking Office Assistant/Operations Assistant with aspirations to be an Operations Manager? Do you have solid recruitment sector experience with a good eye for HR policies and experienced in assisting the onboarding of new starters?
My client is a specialist consultancy with an excellent reputation in the market. They are looking for an ambitious, hardworking Operations Executive. You will have proven experience working in a fast paced environment managing a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal Operations Executive will have at least 3 years' experience in an Administrative or Operations Assistant position. This is an excellent opportunity for an Operations Executive or assistant to gain more exposure and be a massive impact in the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a contact between staff and management to maintain employee morale
- Drafting job offers and employment contracts
- Collecting necessary documents from new starters for payroll and right to work
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are signed and understood
- Setting up the desk for new starters including IT and telecoms
- Performing induction process upon employment start
- Acting as an Account Manager for the job boards
- Liaising with both IT and telecoms provider when individual or office spread issues arise
- Drafting job descriptions
- Organise and coordinate the recruitment and selection of new staff including arranging interviews and holding inductions
Person Specification:
- Having a strong background in Human Resources
- Good knowledge on employment law and best practice
- The ability to work autonomously
- To have an understanding on data protection and confidentiality
- An individual that can bring maturity to the role
- Must have a minimum of 3 years' recruitment sector experience
