My client is a boutique, legal recruitment company and are looking for an Office Manager and Personal Assistant to support its directors. The ideal Personal Assistant/Office Manager will thrive in having full autonomy of the role and will be able to manage a heavy workload. The successful Personal Assistant/Office Manager will have either recruitment sector experience or financial services sector experience. This is an exciting opportunity for the Office Manager / Personal Assistant to help the smooth running of an established recruitment company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out staff appraisals, managing performance and undertaking disciplinary action when required
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the business
  • Managing the office budget for team events, training and miscellaneous office items
  • Recording office expenditure and managing the budget to ensure that business is getting the best value possible at all times
  • Implementing effective and efficient strategies to maintain/increase staff engagement, business productivity and a smooth and clear working environment
  • Diaries – including diary management of 1-2-1 meetings, Board meetings and Training sessions. Oversee associate team diaries to ensure all procedures are correctly followed and all staff are accounted for at all times 

Person Specification:

  • Highly resourceful team - player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently 
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines 
  • Emotional maturity 
  • Competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good verbal and written communication 
  • Enthusiasm and initiative must be self-motivated and ability to work independently 
  • The preferred candidate will have experience in a similar level role operating at Personal Assistant/PA administrative level
