Have you got experience leading a marketing function focused on lead generation and brand development within a commercial business? Do you have a background or a strong interest in politics? If so then this could be the role for you.

I am proud to represent a niche global advisory firm which focuses on working with a range of high profile international clients in navigating the critical area between business, politics and policymaking. They are seeking an intelligent, well experienced generalist Marketing Lead with a history in managing a marketing function in an SME business. Leading a team of two, the core aims of the role focuses around developing the global brand, managing a number of important events held on a regular basis, improving the social presence of the business, generating leads as well as increasing website traffice. This is a core role for the business and sits within the delivery function, my client is growing very quickly and operate in an agile work environment - it is crucial that you are happy to get stuck in!


  • Overseeing digital content communications, including distribution of content and insights (blogs, reports, analysis notes and similar) across various platforms (website, LinkedIn, Twitter).
  • Functioning as the guardian of the company’s visual identity, ensuring correct use of templates, logos, etc across a range of products.
  • Managing the delivery of a range of events, from internal breakfast mornings to working with partners for report launches, to core target audiences (policymakers, corporate leaders, academics, think tanks).
  • Serving as the gatekeeper of the company’s CRM and the company’s network across its core markets of operation (UK, Europe and Asia).
  • Working alongside the senior team to implement the company’s business development strategy.
  • Communicating with media on the company’s behalf, including preparing press releases.


  • At least five years’ experience working on marketing or PR campaigns or similar.
  • Experience of the end-to-end events process.
  • Strong IT skills - Microsoft Office, mass-email platforms, databases (CRM), and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience running social media accounts, including Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Understanding of and practiced in using Google Analytics, Google Adwords, etc.
