​Legal & Compliance Manager

Reading (Onsite)

£50k

A global, multi award-winning recruitment business is looking for a Legal & Compliance Manager to join their team!

​

Responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with the Sales team to co-ordinate the compliance process ensuring it runs efficiently and in accordance with compliance standards.

• Conduct and manage internal and external audits throughout the year to ensure high standards are met at all times and any identified compliance gaps are rectified as soon as identified.

• Design compliance documents as required and ensure all documentation is continually reviewed and updated in line with legislation, framework guidelines and regulations

• Review, manage and issue standard and non-standard client and contractor terms.

• Manage disputes with clients, candidates and suppliers including; chasing unpaid invoices, Commencing/defending county court claims, managing “back-doors”, managing ACAS early conciliations.

• Ensure international candidates are onboarded in line with established rules of engagement and ensure the business is compliant with any changes affecting the industry - e.g. IR35

• CRM GDPR management including erasure requests, subject access requests, unsubscribe requests.
  

About you:

• Experience working within the recruitment industry or a sales environment.

• At least 3+ years experience reviewing terms of business for clients and contractors.

• Commutable to Reading.
