Legal Advisor

Key Responsibilities :

  • Reviewing and amending various third-party agreements (with supervision where appropriate) through to execution.
  • Drafting and issuing contracts for our Clients and Candidates.
  • Advising the business on risks within any contractual provisions reviewed.
  • Conducting and supporting negotiations with clients to achieve the best position for the business.
  • Amending changes into contracts.
  • Research into and resolving of contract issues.
  • Proof-reading all legal documentation and communications.
  • Being aware and keeping us abreast of any legal changes that might affect us.
  • Maintaining efficient, complete, auditable filing in line with the department’s filing policies for all documentation and correspondence.
  • Dealing promptly with any contractual queries and/ or requests from the business and internal support teams.

Person Specification:


  • Proven current experience of providing legal and commercial support to a complex and/or demanding client base
  • Excellent knowledge of reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts


  • Experience within the recruitment industry or other sales-orientated industry
  • Experience of working in a busy role in managing multiple matters simultaneously
  • 'Get stuck in’ approach - take ownership of the role
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp wider impact/dependencies
  • Resilient with strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident and able to build credibility
  • Strong time management/priority management skills
  • Measured yet able to make quick decisions
