I am working with a financial services focused recruitment business who have grown into a market leader in the past 15 years since inception, offering a range of services to their clients (exec search, permanent, interim) they have grown purely organically with a strong emphasis on investing into and developing junior talent. This role is a Learning and Development Consultant position working out of their Manchester office responsible for analysis and delivery of L&D initiatives, facilitating business growth and ensuring consistent development of new and existing employees from entry level to management.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for the learning and development experience of Manchester based employees
- 121 mentoring and coaching delivered to employees in order to ensure continued advancement and maximum profitability
- Responsibility for analysis, preparation and delivery of group training
- Advising senior stakeholders on opportunities to maximise revenue and increase profitability across sales operations
- Design and delivery of roleplay scenarios to ensure best practice is adhered to in all client facing activities
- Identification, research and implementation of new sales models within the business to ensure sustained growth
- Accurate logging of employee development, providing advice on talent pipelining and promotion decisions
- Constant interaction with the rest of the senior team, providing critical advice on office environment, sales performance, and new opportunities for growth
- Monitoring of employee engagement levels and development pathways to ensure maximum retention of staff
Required skills & experience
- Expert knowledge of recruitment – ideally in financial services or a similar sector
- Minimum of 2 years experience a successful 360 biller
- Enthusiastic, engaging with a positive attitude
- Team leadership and mentoring experience gained in a recruitment environment
- Strong communication skills, ability to build rapport and long term relationships
- Proven ability to build long term relationships
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
