I am currently working with a well-established international multi-branded recruitment group that is currently hiring an HR Manager to join their collaborative ‘people team’. From group level, they are passionate about supporting, steering and bringing together specialist recruitment businesses, enabling them to become market leaders in their chosen sector.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance and delivery standards of the remote team
  • Provide remote training as required
  • Telephone query resolution for Group companies including first line advice
  • Acquisition and start-ups – creation of relevant documentation, intranet, contracts, systems aligned to business strategy
  • Performance Management, Discipline and Grievance meetings/advice to drive performance and mitigate disputes
  • Intranet updates
  • Non-sales staff appraisals & consensus – process and documentation reviews and admin to improve performance and engagement
  • Internal recruitment support, advice & assessment centres
  • Insurance – policy renewals, queries, best value
  • Pensions – compliance with legislation, Pensions Regulator correspondence and declarations
  • Letter template updates as required
  • SelectHR reporting, data quality, upgrades and new workflows
  • Maternity/Paternity/Adoption – dealing with queries, liaising re returns, support
  • First Aiders & Fire Marshalls - arrange training, monitor cover & replace where necessary
  • External client training – coordinate & communicate, arrange invoicing
  • Psychometrics – administer testing internally (insight genie) and externally (SHL etc.) for clients as required
  • Liaise with PCG to set up US contracts
  • GDPR compliance within the HR function
  • Projects as required



  • Excellent knowledge and experience of employment law, HR and benefits related legislation & best practice
  • Excellent decision making, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well organized and results driven individual with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Performance Management, Discipline & Grievance process and practice
  • Experience of managing to SLA’s

  • Professional HR Qualification
  • Experience with SelectHR reporting and workflows
