Job Description

My client, a highly innovative multi-solution technology recruitment business, are looking for a highly experienced Head of Marketing to adopt a new proactive strategy for the business, lead and develop the existing team and digitally transform the organisation.

Using a combination of B2C and B2B marketing, the core aims would be to create candidate attraction, employee retention and lead generation activities, supporting the business objectives and increasing profitability.

Having operated for 40 years, my client is very distinguished and a market leader within their sectors, they use a highly candidate centric approach building strong and long standing relationships - the quality of their service has allowed them to become trusted partners with their clients.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Develop, own, implement and measure online and offline marketing plans that help meet strategic objectives
  • Partner closely with the senior leadership team of the brand in offering professional marketing advice across all aspects of the business operations
  • Develop, implement and measure integrated and distinctive marcomms. plans that enable the business to attract & retain the right candidate pools
  • Develop brand websites and develop effective digital marketing plans that transform candidate attraction & experience, and enhance brand reach
  • Build digital marketing strategy to ensure the business has an optimised online presence
  • Develop integrated campaigns utilising white papers, social media and events to ensure the brand’s messages reach the target market
  • Manage the team of marketing executives and specialists through regular reviews and annual appraisals to ensure effective delivery of marketing services
  • Implement and manage appropriate processes and procedures so that marketing spend is controlled and all marcomms. activity is on brand, within budget and no waste occurs
  • Work with directors and analysts to effectively manage both central and local marketing spend and drive better ROI, campaign efficiency and cost management

Personal specification

  • 5 years+ marketing experience
  • Exposure to a multi-brand, complex stakeholder environment
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Staffing or professional services sector experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Creative and innovative flair
  • Proven people-management skills and team player
  • Strong business understanding and budget management experience
