Our client, a high-growth technology consultancy, is seeking a Head of Client Services in a newly created role.
The business has grown at a rate of 20% year on year and has ambitious plans to scale further, through a combination of building upon existing client relationships and international expansion to the US.
Reporting to the CEO and leading a team of 2, the Head of Client Services will be tasked with creating and implementing a 'land and expand' sales strategy, to increase the number of 'emerging' clients to 'key accounts', from 2 to 8 within 12 - 18 months. A 'key account' is defined by contribution of at least 10% of Net Fee Income (NFI) or Gross Profit (GP) of the business' total NFI / GP.
The successful candidate will come from an IT services or RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) background and have an excellent track record of growing GP year on year.
Experience of the following is essential:
- dealing with a long sales cycle (rather than transactional sales)
- management and development of high value clients (minimum of £2m GP per client)
- excellent understanding of tech terminology including terms associated with business analysis, big data and devops
- strong leadership and people development skills (the team is expected to grow to 5 by the end of 2020 and 10-15 by 2021
