Job Description

Our client, a well-established, international recruitment group, is currently looking to hire an autonomous and strategic senior bids & tenders professional. This opportunity is made for someone who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and take full control of the Bid function. This is a new role in the business as the company take unique steps to creating positive change. The successful applicant will have the chance to build and establish the function how they see fit, reporting directly to the Executive Director of the firm.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Build the bid function from scratch, hire a team and upskill said team members
  • Complete ownership for the establishment of bid qualification processes - along with full management of this.
  • Managing the group’s tender and proposal database
  • Working with other departments such as Sales in order to fully engrave the 'sales themes’ along with identifying appropriate delivery
  • All documents must be a high level of quality, creating positive impressions both internally and of course for the group’s clients
  • Establish the Bid function as a vital part of the group going forward, with constant growth expected with the success of the team

Experience Required:

  • 5 years’ minimum as a Bid Manager - with at least 2 years doing this in a managed services recruitment business
  • Excellent writing ability
  • Strong team management / leading and motivating
  • Personable and organised - able to communicate across all levels of the business
  • Comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
