The role;

You will be working as part of the Accountancy team, you will be supporting a team of Semi Senior and Senior Accountants and with the opportunity to start your professional ACCA/CIMA qualification.

Your main purpose of this junior level position will be to provide the senior team with assistance in the preparation of accounts for the multiple clients and companies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assistance with analysis of receipts
  • Assisting with completion of purchase ledgers, including the payment of company suppliers
  • Working with sales ledger team, including the raising of invoices and assisting with credit control
  • Reconciling cash expenditure and bank accounts
  • Learning to complete VAT and Tax returns
  • Assisting with preparation of tour accounts, which will include (but not limited to) matching costs to budget and investigating variances

The ideal Accounts Assistant:

  • Passionate about starting a career in accounting

  • Relevant university qualification and potential study of professional qualification
  • Excellent organisation and communicative skills
