Company

A multi-brand, 30 office, £90 million turnover group are looking for a financial controller to take complete ownership of the finances of three companies within the group (the largest, most affluent section of the group), whilst managing a finance team of five.

There is unlimited progression and opportunity in both this role and this company, as the company has been consistently growing in both size and profit. They are regularly acquiring other businesses (they have just acquired another recruitment business) and are looking to acquire more.

Role

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for three healthcare companies across multiple locations
  • Management of a finance team of five
  • Reporting directly into the company MD and the Group CFO
  • Oversight of accounts for the entire division
  • Maintenance of invoice discounting accounts and monthly reconciliations
  • Produce weekly margin reports for three companies
  • Analysis of sales data and completion of management information
  • Monthly commission calculation
  • Production of annual files for statutory audits

Requirements

  • Previous recruitment sector experience
  • Previous people management experience
  • Previous management accounts experience
  • Must be highly computer literate: strong excel skills - Macros, SQLs etc.
