Finance Director

Central London, £80,000 - £95,000

Our client, a large global professional services group, are searching for an impressive FD to join one of the most inspiring, fastest-growing companies within the group. This role will be exciting, supervising accountants underneath; you will partner the divisional CEO to deliver an internal audit change plan and develop a commercial take on the business. You will also business partner the sales and delivery teams; strengthen processes & controls; support m&a; and develop and lead international finance and IT teams to ensure the highest level of information is produced.

Your role as Finance Director will span across reporting, planning and business development and as such you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering the divisional CEO and reporting into the Group CFO
  • Responsible for Finance and IT
  • Delivering a divisional board member role
  • Statutory financial accounting across the divisional entities
  • Management reporting across division and in to plc board
  • Financial planning across the division
  • Delivering an agreed change programme to upgrade processes & controls so that they are compliant with recent internal audit recommendations
  • Supporting and signing off good quality business and helping repair low margin business
  • Internal policies financial and tax-impacted
  • International tax and compliance across financial reporting and international mobility
  • Inconspicuously supporting and leading the sales & project delivery teams to maximise KPI’s
  • Lead, develop and nurture the finance, IT and wider general management teams so that they are can deliver growth
  • Managing tax-effectiveness and compliance with the plc group finance team

The ideal candidate will be or have the following:

  • ACA qualified
  • Driven individual with track record of delivering growth within a service-based business
  • Commercial individual, able to liaise with board level members and sales consultants alike
  • Excellent academic background

This role will suit a strong and experienced FC, stepping up into an FD role – or a FD with 2-5 years’ experience, ready to make his mark on a growing business.
