This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Director to join an established and affluent business at a really key pivot in their growth trajectory as they’re about to invest heavily in the expansion of the business. The successful candidate will be heading up a well-run, organised and bought-in finance team and can focus entirely on the value-add piece.
The company is a global recruitment and services business. This role is reporting directly into the CEO.
A very profitable business with and 40 staff across Bristol, Cardiff, Singapore and Australia.

A high-calibre board with a bright and growing senior management team along with a well-established and bought-in finance team.
The business is about to enter an extremely exciting growth period, as they prepare to invest heavily into the expansion of different areas of the business - so this is a great to join them at a metamorphic period in the company.
Are in the process of diversifying into other sectors and markets.
Whilst they have an incredibly strong contractor book, they are going to be investing heavily into expanding their perm offering.
Over the next 12-18 months are going to be looking at opening two further offices in the UK.
Reporting directly into the CEO and managing the FM, who in turn manages a team of 5.
Coaching and mentoring the finance team in their personal development goals
Overseeing and coordinating financial control and accounting of the business and ensuring all procedures are up to date and fit for purpose
Preparing and updating financial projections (annual budget, business plan)
Ensuring timely and accurate submission of finance, tax, and accounting records to shareholders, auditors, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders
Assisting the Senior Management Team (SMT) in managing financial and legal aspects of the business and provide data analysis for decision making
Cash flow management and optimisation, including currency management to meet operational needs
Maintaining tax efficiency across multiple jurisdictions
Managing costs and identifying cost optimisation potential
Managing relationships with Banks, Auditors, Tax advisors and Lawyers and other corporate advisors
Developing appropriate, engaging messages and presentations to communicate business and financial performance
Understanding that this is a Finance Director role within an SME organisation, and thus requires this person to have a roll-your-sleeves up attitude and be willing to help junior members of the finance team at busy parts of the month
The Ideal Experience
Experience in a contractor-driven recruitment business.
Ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
Experience managing a similar sized team.
