Credit Manager 

Our client is currently seeking a Credit Control Manager. This person must be proactive, decisive, and manage a team of 4. This is an opportunity to join a growing business that rewards strong performance.

The business works across multiple regions and is extremely fast growth having doubled in size in the last two years.

Duties and responsibilities

Be hands-on, the manager will have a small number of clients to own, must be able to lead by example:
• Drive effect cash collection to ensures the team meets weekly collection targets
• Ensure new clients are promptly assigned and a first call is actioned
• Motivate and supervise the team, hold weekly 1-2-1 
• Manage daily cash collections and allocations; reconcile any unallocated monies and report
• Continuous improvement of the Credit Control processes and drive good practice
• Activity liaise with the sales consultants and resolve any customer queries 
• Be aware of changes to client procedures and immediate action these changes 
• Reduce the debtor days and improve the debtor profile 
• Deal with escalated customer queries 
• Prepare a weekly report for the SMT & Directors 
• Recognise development needs and constantly seek to improve the team 
• Proactively meet the needs of the business with accurate MI
• Weekly forecast cash collections and DSO calculations
• Ensuring all policies and procedures are seen too
• Develop and monitor KPI’s 
• Build client relationships and manage client visits and client SLA’s 



Experience Required


• Candidates applying for this role must have previously been a credit manager 
• Team management
