Job Description

Would you like to be the driving force behind culture change within a PLC? Do you have experience operating at board level (CPO / CHRO) as well as international experience?

My client is a well established listed global business operating across 5 continents. This is an executive team role, advising the CEO, COO and CSO on how people enable the delivery of business objectives. Leading the strategic capability function, and setting strategy for people and culture across the business the role will involve (but not limited to):

  • Create and own the global people strategy, ensuring its successful execution and adjusting accordingly to create competitive advantage
  • Lead the strategic capability leadership team, ensuring alignment, capability and consistency across the people function
  • Provide the Executive team with strategic, functional expertise and coaching
  • Build a pipeline of senior talent across the business, ensuring succession and development plans are in place
  • Set the cultural agenda, ensuring that the business reflects the customers they serve by creating a diverse and inclusive environment
  • Drive effective employee engagement strategies based on insight and feedback from all employees
  • Use people analytics to make informed strategic decisions around the people offering, ensuring colleagues feel proud of working at the business and feel rewarded for their contribution
  • Work closely with the CEO and chair of the remuneration Committee to ensure Executive reward complies with policy, is aligned with the strategic intent and drives superior business performance

Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven experience of managing diverse and large international teams of HR and people professionals within a listed business
  • Experience designing and developing global talent acquisition and L&D functions
  • Experience developing a unified culture in a large international organisation and large scale talent management and succession strategies
  • Proven commercial acumen in a senior advisory role at the most senior level over a broad spectrum of HR & People management
