Chief Operations Officer - High-growth international staffing firm
Have you worked within a recruitment firm as an Operations Director or Chief Operations Officer? Do you come from an Operations background rather than or as well as a sales background? Are you experienced in leading Legal, Compliance, HR, IT & Operations functions and would like to bring that experience to a fast-growth SME? Or perhaps you have already had a holistic view of some of those disciplines within an SME but would like to move to a progressive international firm to showcase your talent?
This is an owner-managed firm, led by an executive team that constantly seeks and acts upon growth opportunities. The business is operating within high-margin, talent-short markets and has moved at a great pace to open new offices in key international locations. As a member of the executive team, you will be a key driver in building this business towards a potential transaction. You will business partner the founder, sales leaders and the CFO to drive efficiency and best practice across the firm.
We are looking for people that have the following experience:
- A significant amount of leadership experience
- Someone that can create their own strategic projects plan and deliver upon it whilst commercially prioritising any issues that arise
- Have been a key pioneer of all best-in-practice technology, processes, and ideas from across the recruitment industry
- Have both hands-on and strategic experience running operations functions within a recruitment firm
- An understanding of the following areas within a growing recruitment firm; HR, IT, Compliance and Operations
- Have worked within a global business; ideally within experience in the US
- Have played a part in improving staff retention, development and attraction
- Have rolled out company-wide strategic operations projects and delivered on them
