Job Description

Chief Financial Officer – Central London

Our client, an extremely impressive and international consulting business based in the heart of the central London, are searching for an inspiring, bright and exceptionally talented CFO to head up back office support. This role will favour candidates with immensely strong academic background, with experience having worked in a professional services business (ideally consulting) and will give exposure to working with the highest calibre consultants and partners - day in, day out.

Your role will be broad in scope but will most closely look at providing high quality management information to enable SME growth, and inspiring back office staff to become true business partners with consultants. Some of your responsibilities as CFO may include:

  • Management of a small finance team, with dotted line management of entire back office support function (including HR, IT, Compliance)
  • Present monthly board packs and provide commercial insight to CEO and partners
  • Responsible for running audit process
  • Accurate budgeting and forecasting, including complex sales pipeline building
  • Analysis of company performance, as well as specific departmental performance

As the ideal candidate, you will have or be:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA ideally, ACCA/CIMA considered)
  • Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and business partner in an effective manner
  • Outstanding academic background
  • Ideally some experience in HR/IT/Compliance etc as well as finance
  • Ability to motivate a small finance team, and maintain the quality of MI at all time
