Bookkeeper – Central London


Our client, a growing firm based in Central London are looking for a Bookkeeper to be responsible for handling the accounts for the business and will be responsible for the maintenance both ledgers. The business is looking for someone reliable, with an eye for detail and accuracy that can work closely with the MD, and other areas of the business to aid growth through assisting in making important commercial decision.


The ability to work autonomously is important, and the role will require someone to be a confident, outgoing individual who is not afraid to ask questions.


The role will include but is not limited to: 
- General Bookkeeping
- Sales and Purchase Ledger maintenance
- Bank Reconciliations & Payments
- Payroll & Invoicing
- Monthly reports / Posting Journals
- Handling expenses
- Credit Control

-  Staff payroll – bonus & commission calculation
- Ad hoc duties 


Desired skills:

  • Strong MS skills – especially Excel;
  • Xero experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills;
  • Total flexibility in adapting to a fast-changing environment
