Job Description

You are an ambitious, confident, proactive Administrator who thrives working in a fast paced environment. You have at least a years' experience in an Administrator position within the recruitment sector. You have a genuine passion and interest in improving ethnic minorities or gender diversity in the workplace.

My client is a membership organisation championing inclusion in businesses and are looking for their next Administrator on a 6 months fixed term contract with the possibility to go permanent. The ideal Administrator will also have a genuine interest in the ethnic minority or gender diversity within the workplace and will want to champion diversity. The successful Administrator will have proven experience working in a demanding environment and thrives working autonomously. As the Administrator, you will be flexible and be open to natural change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake general administrative support tasks, such as filing and document management
  • Organisation of internal and external meetings and functions.
  • Organising meetings and travel
  • Running the office on a day to day basis
  • Supporting the Head of Operations and provide ad hoc support to the rest of the office
  • Weekly reporting on sales leads, proposals and ongoing project work.
  • Dealing with third-party suppliers to negotiate the best deals
  • Actively involved in helping to manage the social media/ website platforms
  • Liaise with other teams and assist them with project administration when required
  • Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organisation
  • Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of positive professional competence

Person Specification:

  • Have at least a years' experience in an administrative/ office support role, covering all of the duties above
  • Be tech savvy with experience using all Microsoft Office packages
  • Have good communication and written skills
  • Knowledge or passion of inclusion in the workplace across LGBT + rights, ethnic minority, and gender equality
  • Recruitment Sector experience
  • Keen interest and passion for inclusive cultures and driving change
  • Excellent organisational skills and a flexible approach - capable of working on ad-hoc projects/ tasks at short notice
  • Extensive experience operating in a corporate business environment
  • Strong and dynamic communicator skills
