Our client, a professional services company based in Hertfordshire, are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their very sucessful business. This business have had amazing period of growth which is looking to continue in the future. The business provides managed services and staffing on an international platform. The role has become live due to the last person being promoted into a new position, showing the great potential for the next individual coming into the business. This company has amazing aspirations with a phenomenal plan on how to achieve their set targets. 

The Accounts assistant role is looking for a confident and energetic individual with an aptitude for learning new things. This role will have aspects of purchase ledger, sales ledger and nominal ledger involved with possibility of taking on more responsibilites as time goes on. This position will be visible across the company as it will be the go to person in the credit control function and key to the Credit operations.

The roles responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing the group credit control across the UK and International entities
  • Being involved with other adhoc finance duties and projects
  • Preparing payment runs for senior management to authorise, this will also be a multi currency function
  •  Accurate billing, meeting criteria and often bespoke
  • Bank reconciliations and various other nominal ledger reconciliations

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Confident and intrigues to take on new tasks
  • Experienced in a similar role (payroll would be a benefit also)
  • Experienced in multi-currency environment
