Job Description

Our client have offices in London, Berlin, Hamburg, Oslo and Baar and by April 2018 will also have offices in, Paris and Stockholm. Due to our ongoing success and continued internationalisation we are now looking for an Accountant to support the Finance Department within our London HQ reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be proactive and hungry to learn, developing processes and supporting wider business development and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Monthly UK Management Accounts and UK Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Annual Statutory Accounts UK
  • Managing Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledger UK
  • Contribution to the Billing process to maximise Working Capital Opportunity’s
  • Agree Monthly Accruals Schedules
  • Support Sales & Bank Reconciliations
  • Support the preparation of monthly/quarterly VAT submissions
  • Support the annual financial audits with external auditors
  • Check the monthly PAYE and RTI Submissions as provided by our payroll provider
  • Preparation of the Monthly Payroll
  • Ensure UK Pension requirements are correctly applied and reported
  • Monitoring general compliance maintaining open and positive relationships with HMRC and other Regulators.
  • Accurate preparation of regulatory, compliance and tax schedules.
  • Support annual preparations of Corporation Tax Computations
  • SAO responsibility for UK Tax accounting
  • Coordinating and assisting with processing and payment of Invoices
  • Ad-hoc work

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge:

  • Studier ACCA or CIMA
  • Knowledgeable in financial & tax reporting and general ledger accounting
  • Up-to date with Accounting Standards, and Best Practice
  • Proactive in CPD
  • Hands-on-Mentality
  • Excellent communication skills
