In bringing together a panel of leading experts in taking Media & Creative businesses to exit, the Building your Business for Exit Conference was aimed at informing business owners within the Media & Creative sectors on the best practice in growing your business in order to prepare for a sale.
Speakers included Karl Heasman, who discussed his story in building and growing one of the UK's fastest growing agencies, Cognito, and the lessons he learned from the sale, Crowe UK's Corporate Finance Partner, Matteo Timpani, who highlighted the role of advisors in the pre-sale and sale process, and last but certainly not least, the man who built and sold Only 4 U, Martin Spiller, who gave practical advice to business owners in the unexpected challenges of selling a Media & Creative business.
